I have written songs since I was age 16. It's only in the last 15 years I have had a home studio (Budget: a state of the art 1990 24 Channel Tascam 2488). It's not much but it's enabled me to record a number of songs I have written since 1966. Most of these are up on Spotify and all the other major music streaming sites. My Spotify kink is https://open.spotify.com/artist/4sO7RFAKlntg6Eh6LeGpjd?si=wz7ODIagSvqU3u0OSUr4Ng
Other sites such as Youtube, Amazon, Google, Deezer Pandora Rhapsody etc etc, just type in my name. Music and lyrics to follow...WIP
Screaming at the Rain
It’s like trying to escape a landslide
It’s like a wolverine at your knee
It’s like calling in a bomb threat
The one that was meant for me
What kind of judge could sentence me
Give me 5 to life
It’s one of the things that turned me bad
But it made me twice as nice
It’s like trying to outrun a train wreck
By peddling on a bike
It’s like trying to win a crap game
By eating, the dice
The sounds that surround a shipwreck
Are the soundtrack of my life
The wrecking crew got nothing to do
So they rain on my parade
Frus-tra-tion On me
The people are shouting out to the better angels in my brain
So I’ll be Screaming at the rain
Don’t fall on me again
You wanna break out, I know how it is but this is all, that you can do
Screaming at the rain
Trying to outrun the train
It’s a déjà vu comin’ back at you it’s déjà vu deja do it again

Oh Susanna Stratocaster
I come from California with my banjo on my knee; I'm goin' to Lou'siana my true love for to see. You know it…… rained all night the day I left, the weather it was dry; The sun so hot I froze to death, Susanna, don't you cry.The Santa Ana winds they blow so hot like a Socal SymphonyI I braved those fires all the way from Hell, Susanna for to see
Oh! Susanna, don't you cry for me;
I come from West of Hollywood,
with my banjo on my knee.
I had a dream the other night, When everything was still; I thought I saw Susanna dear, A-coming down the hill.
The storm of truth was in her mouth,
A tear was in her eye, Said I, I'm coming from the south, But, Susanna don't you cry. Oh! Susanna, don't you cry for me; I come from California, with a Stratocaster on my knee My vision brought me here to you, My pony may have died But my Pinto still has gas in it, Susanna don’t you cry From every door you’ve ever walked thru, for every thing you’ve tried, A passion so hot you’ll die of cold , But Su-zanna don’t you cry
